Davinder Singh Garcha passes away at 73
Former international hockey player Davinder Singh Garcha, a gold medalist at the 1980 Moscow Olympics, passed away at his Jalandhar home on Saturday at the age of 73. Garcha, who also served as an IPS officer and was a recipient of the Dhyan Chand award, played over 30 international matches, scoring 19 goals.
